PRP for Hair and Face

New at the clinic

The same regenerative principle applies to the skin and scalp. The growth factors in your platelets stimulate the cells of the treated area: they promote collagen production and support hair follicle activity, naturally and gradually.

For hair

PRP may be considered for hereditary hair loss, in women and men, when hair is thinning or losing density, or for hair loss related to childbirth, stress or hormonal changes, depending on the assessment.

For the face

It helps restore radiance to a dull or tired complexion, soften fine lines, even out irregular skin texture and improve the appearance of acne scars. It can also be used on the under-eye area.

What does a treatment involve?

A small blood sample is taken on site, then spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. After the area is prepared, the PRP is applied to the scalp or face. Redness or mild swelling may last 24 to 48 hours.

A series of 3 treatments, about 4 to 6 weeks apart, is generally recommended for the best results.
