Minor surgeries performed by a general surgeon require a referral from a physician or nurse practitioner. * Certain lesion locations or sizes may require hospitalization to ensure optimal and safe intervention.

Please note that only administrative fees are taxable; health services are tax-exempt.
Our professionals do not participate in the public health insurance plan. Therefore, services must be paid directly and are not reimbursable by RAMQ (Quebec Health Insurance Plan). You can, however, use your receipts for tax purposes. Some services may be reimbursed by private insurance. Check with your insurer.
CNESST (Quebec Workplace Health and Safety Commission): A worker can request reimbursement of their expenses directly from the CNESST.
Cancellation fees: A fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled amount will be applied for any cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance.

Dr. Gharib is a general surgeon currently practicing at the Granby Hospital. He possesses recognized expertise in digestive surgery, the treatment of anal diseases, as well as breast and hernia surgery.
He also performs minor skin surgeries, vasectomies, and digestive endoscopies, offering comprehensive, rigorous, and patient-centered care. Dr. Gharib joins our clinic once a month, or as needed, to perform minor surgeries and specialized procedures in a safe, professional, and accessible environment.
Important Information:
RAMQ Coverage: These services are covered by the RAMQ; therefore, there are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients.
Referral Required: A referral from a physician or a Nurse Practitioner (PHCNP) is mandatory.
Priority Access: Patients already followed at our clinic will be prioritized for access to these specialized services.
