My approach is integrative and grounded in a biopsychosocial understanding of the individual. I primarily incorporate systemic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches, tailoring my interventions to each person’s unique needs, history, and goals. I am also trained in various modalities for processing difficult and traumatic experiences, including EMDR, Eye Movement Technique (EMT), and Reconsolidation Therapy\u2014an approach aimed at reducing the emotional charge associated with painful memories or events.<\/p>

As a psychoeducator by training, I hold a master’s degree in psychoeducation and have completed all the theoretical and practical requirements set by the Ordre des psychologues du Qu\u00e9bec to obtain my psychotherapist license. This dual background enriches my practice, allowing me to gain a deep understanding of what a client is experiencing while guiding them toward concrete, lasting change.<\/p>

I have been working in the helping profession for over twenty years, and my career path has led me to practice in a wide variety of settings: in private practice with children, adolescents, and adults; in school and university environments; in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP); as well as in mental health, psychiatric, and correctional facilities. These experiences have shaped my strong adaptability, openness to diverse realities, and deep trust in people’s capacity to evolve, even through exceptionally difficult times.<\/p>

I believe therapy is not just about reducing symptoms, but also about understanding oneself better, regaining one’s bearings, and reconnecting with one’s needs, strengths, and what gives life meaning. My role is to guide this process with gentleness, authenticity, and empathy, while offering concrete tools whenever they can be helpful.<\/p>

On a more personal note, I am the proud mother of two children, and nature plays an important role in my life. I love the outdoors, staying active, and simple moments that allow me to slow down and ground myself.
